RENAMING THIS BLOG TO "MANY APOLOGIES."

Not Really...

What a crazy bunch of months.... A giant thanks to everyone who got us to this point. We couldn't have done it with out you. We've been in the new house for four whole months, now...A lot has changed and much has stayed the same. Either way, it is HOME. The wood stove did its job and did it well. We were warm and toasty all through this incredibly loooonnnnnnggggg winter. And chili cooked slowly on top of it has never tasted so good. We finally got propane in late January which meant I could do dishes and wash my hands, etc. in warm water. Yes folks, I have learned to appreciate things like warm water. Our shower was just recently finished and I was able to shower without having to get dressed, trudge up the hill to Andrew's parent's house. It was the best shower of my life. The bathroom window overlooks the woods and the shower head comes down from the ceiling like a rain shower. It's like taking a rain shower in the trees... Can you tell I'm excited?

Now down to other highlights... Christmas was wonderful and quiet. Andrew and Ian got a tree from the 20 or so acres of pines and it was perfect. Ian wrote his very first list for Santa and I am astounded at how little he asks for. He is so appreciative of everything, and it makes me proud. This was a VERY lean year for us and am thankful for the fact that Santa was able to make good on the list. Andrew's dad had had leg surgery to alleviate some of the pain he'd been having, but he was in great spirits during the holidays. He's up and around now and doing better than before.

New Year's was spent at a good friend's house with his family who also happen to be great friends of ours. The house was filled with laughter, great stories and dancing children. So much fun.

And now it's the end of March. My business is doing well and people are ordering for the upcoming seasons. It feels good to be back in it and getting out and selling. Looking forward to a summer filled with sun, impromptu get togethers, sand in my toes, a garden full of salads and lots of laughter. Here are some of the highlights of the last few months...

Big Love,

Sarah
