Busy Week

Hi Guys!

Hope you all are staying warm. Winter is upon us... Trying to bundle up a squirmy boy is difficult at best. My little Ian turned 1 1/2 on the 25th. We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and, as usual, got a clean bill of health. He is now 3 feet tall and 25 pounds. Tall and skinny. The doctor is always astounded with him. He is truly awesome. I've only got about 2 weeks left here at my store. I don't know what I'm going to do for the 4 months before I open in Boothbay. It's going to be very strange.

The VonFrank Residence is quickly becoming more and more like a home. The roof is on and the front door installed. Andrew is very busy doing the inside. I should have some good interior shots soon. I can't wait until the spring. The view from their land is quite incredible. Hopefully, some of you will get to come up and see it for yourselves. On that note, I'll be back soon.
Big Love,
Sarah

Thanksgiving

Hello!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent the evening at Nancy and Henry's house. Our friend Brian was able to join us with a friend from Massachusetts. He really knows how to get a crowd going. There was alot of laughter! We discovered that Ian is very afraid of fire. It was a drag, seeing that all the hors d'ouvres were in the living room, but in the end we decided it's not such a bad fear... And what a spread! Unfortunately, I forgot to charge my camera battery and was only able to get a few shots.
The table looked really good with everyone sitting down, but hey, I'll remember to charge the battery at Christmas. I'm going to take pictures at The Vonfrank Residence today, so you'll be able to see the progress since the last post. Hope everyone is keeping warm.
Big love,
Sarah

MUCH PROGRESS!

Hello!
The VonFrank Residence is taking shape. I can't be there every day to take pictures, as I had hoped. It is really starting to look like a home. The roof should be finished by next week. They got half up, but we are expecting some weather for the next few days, so not much will be done until then.
We are all well. I can't believe Ian will be a year and a half on the 25th. He is growing so fast it's hard to believe. Andrew is very busy with the house building and organizing it all. I am closing this store in a month and am looking forward to a little time off. It will be nice to have some real quality time with my son. He's with me every day, but, I'm always trying to work. And, quite frankly, I think he's bored with coming to work with me every day.

Here's a more ecent photo of Ian...

Here is the house with the roof half done.
Have a great Turkey Day!
Big Love,
Sarah

Building the VonFrank Residence

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the delay... Things are kind of crazy around here... Many of you know that Andrew's parents moved up here. They are living n a beautiful rental and purchased some land not far from the house we bought last year. The land is spectacular. 21 acres of all you could want. Meadow, great trees, a little water, fantastic views. Well, this week, their house started going up. I can't seem to keep up with the crew. It is a timberframe, but, I never expected this. This is what happened in 2 days. Crazy! I'll try to keep up, but, who knows what will happen tomorrow. It is going to be gorgeous!!!!

This is the beginning of the first day.

This is the end of the first day!

This is the end of the second day. Yes, that is a tree on the rafters. Traditional...

I really will try and add some more pics soon. I have lots.

Big Love,

Sarah
